Thank you for creating the channel, Simon. Curious to see if we have more RE investors in the workspace. Will investigate the Colombian residential market this year and would be curious to know what kind of companies to form to buy real estate globally and how to leverage different schemes to not pay any tax on the rental/AirBnB income.

Recently, I have been receiving a lot of info on opportunities in Cairo and Budapest. Has there been any other potential value hot spots that are worth looking at in anyone?s opinion.

Budapest has become more and more interesting over the last 10 years.

Also eyeing on Montenegro since it?s on the Adriatic Sea and has a similar flavor to Italy for a fraction of the price. Recently looked into Colombia. Happy to exchange ideas here.

I received info recently on a few Budapest options. It is becoming more and more attractive I understand. Currently I am really into looking at options in Panama (Playa Caracol) and Mexico (Tulum/Playa del Carmen). The last 2-3 months have been dedicated to intensive research on these areas.

Nothin in prticular, but I am a huge fan of teh Adriatic Sea and Montenegro has felt bery similar to Italy when I was there. I can imagine in 5-10 years it will make a huge push forward. Most of the prices in Italy are already on the higher side

How do you guys structure your RE entities? Do you buy on your own name or in the name of a company/holding?

Curious to hear what you found out. I had the impression that Tulum and PDC is already very developed/pricey.

What do you guys think of this new Airbnb partnership program? https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/real-estate-news/article252303843.html

I think it?s an interesting development that has global potential especially for people who are location independent. Basically both Uber and AirBnb could in theory move to a Netflix model where you py a fix monthly fee and then use their services for a month. Means if AB has more properties worldwide you could be today in Miami, tomorrow in Barcelona and afterwards in HK. This would be very appealing to many. There are some co-living providers who try to pull something like this off, but AB has obviously a huge potential due to existing market penetration, size, resources, etc.

Hey guys, got a nice little opportunity for the right buyer: I?m looking to sell my 5 Bedroom Bali Villa unfinished, I need to mobilise some capital unfortunately as it was a nice project, but should make the buyer $50-100k in the coming 4months until it?s finished + furnished. Selling under market value for a quick sale. Will take ±$450k depending on how quick buyer can arrange sale. Otherwise I?m also listing it with some local real estate agents and if it?s going to take a month will opt on the upper end of that range, if there?s someone ready to go and we can sell it in a week happy to discuss lower end of that range Market value when it?s finished + furnished I?d peg in the $500-600k range and Bali is the fastest growing property in the world right now, so land value might appreciate between now and then also. Only $10k outstanding on build upon completion. Needs to be furnished at buyer?s expense. I was building it as a nice Airbnb rental, it?s in a very popular area, and my both my neighbours in the project are Instagram Influencers with 1m+ followers each so the group of villas will get a lot of attention and should always be booked out no problem. 25 year lease, with option to extend on the land (it?s a Bali thing) Details: https://gun.link/villa-gun This post is pre-emptive of real-estate agents so should have more info as time goes past, but as I mentioned looking for a quick sale if someone is prepared to action on their due diligence fast I think this is a great buy due to my personal circumstances.:skin-tone-2:
